Description

TThe cavity is formed in favor of a powerful fracture that crosses all this sector of the lapiaz. The same presents a very sharp dissolution, forming on its walls large striations and large sharp slabs. The Torco de l'Engraneu (PO-27) is a cavity that has always been known by the Portudera shepherds, which was named by them during the first of our campaigns in the area. Located by us in 2017, it wasn't until 2019 that we explored it.

A first vertical of 17 m, deposits us on a steep incline - fully covered with leaves and organic remains - in which it is necessary to use vertical progression techniques to descend safely. This ramp leads to a new vertical of 9 m, however, to access it you have to force a cross between blocks. After forcing the strait, and descending the P-9, a last well of 8 m places us at the maximum depth of the depth, at -43 m Returning to the head of the P-17 entrance to the cavity, and making a passage through an easy handrail, we will be in the second sector of the cavity. A beautiful 25 m well, parallel to the previous one, will allow us to descend to its base, in which the strong erosion of the rock forms impressive large channels. A small vertical of 6 m, ends and this area of ??the cavity at -33 m deep.

The Torco de l'Engraneu (PO-27) offers results of -43m deep, and 87m of development. Exploration completed.
