Entrance

a large natural snow-plugged, crescent shaped shaft Entrance

Description

A large natural snow-plugged, crescent shaped shaft.  At the eastern end a climb down behind the snow leads to a large chamber.

A lot of mine debris was held up by rotting beams and the dangerous descending passage down the scree was not followed
A natural meander is reached, narrow in places and blocked(?) in others.
Continues but tight with draft?

At the bottom there was two leads;
a windy meander that needs explosives (the meander appears to open after 1-2m)
An ascending tube with no draft, very tight as well.

Progressed 20m into eastern shaft.  Could see another 20-30m down a scree slope to where the passage narrows to approx. 1m diameter, snow plug minimal.  Rock is loose on walls if used to climb.  Railway sleepers in entrance holding back rocks are sold and stable at this time.

Possible draft, no echo.  Spits found in good condition. Scree slope held up by loose boulders. Cave explored to 3m (approx.) from floor. No way on visible. Draft is probably coming from through the choke.

Descending passage is approx. 20m to 2 3m pitches (spits in place)
