Entrance

A large natural snow-plugged, crescent shaped shaft Entrance

Description

A large natural snow-plugged, crescent shaped shaft. At the eastern end a climb down behind the snow leads to a large chamber. A lot of mine debris was held up by rotting beams and the dangerous descending passage down to a natural meander is reached, narrow in places and blocked(?) in others.

At the bottom there was two leads, a windy meander that needs explosives (the meander appears to open after 1-2m) and an ascending tube with no draft, very tight as well.

2021
ends in a tight horizontal rift with the floor slowly dropping down at much reduced width. The rift continues at a reasonably constant constricted width as far as visually possible (maybe 5 m, was initially quite straight). No obvious wider route through it at any level.
