Follow the Sierra del a Corta track from the northern end (Monte los Joyos). Past T68/ T69 on right and continue until the path starts to get steeper and double back on itself. A cairn should mark the point to leave the track, and head for the 'obvious' clearing to the east and up. Route should bring to edge of trees onto limestone 'cliffs'. Traverse round to east. T553 is in large shakehole, that should be quite obvious when approaching. Approx. 5m West from T553, in same shakehole.

Obvious shaft, approx 100m

T554 is in the same depression as T553, its located on the west side of the depression about half way up the west wall. There are existing spits and new through bolts. The first bolt is to the right (Looking west) of the shaft on a slope this is backed up with a sling to a flake of rock above. The shaft is approximately 2mx2m at the surface increasing to 4mx2m at the base, its approximately 100m deep (120m of rope used with approximately 6m left at the bottom) with surface debris and rocks on ledges as you descend and in the base of the shaft. From the bottom of the shaft a rift passage about 1.5m wide over a choked boulder leads to a ~20m decent after 2m
 - possible continuation down through pool of water.
