Entrance

An obvious 2m by 1m walk in adit entrance in a snow filled rift.

Description

An obvious 2m by 1m walk in adit entrance in a snow filled rift. 20m of passage leads to a junction. The right-hand passage leads to an undescended pitch whilst straight ahead for 200m leads to a 40m pitch. From the bottom of the P40 the right-hand route has not been investigated but left past an undescended shaft leads to a 20m pitch through platforms and a further 10m pitch, landing in the T154 CUESTA mine level (beyond the wooden bridge).
From the bottom, to the left, over two shafts (the second followed down to a flooded level) the mined level continues to T154 (CUESTA). All the workings taking off this level are blind including the natural shaft 30m from the exit.
Approx. 400m from T123 ROSA to T154 CUESTA (Survex 2017)
