Approach

Cavity located and explored during the summer season of 2016. Located in the Jou de los Cocines, this pit has a large entrance mouth.

Entrance

The descent to its interior begins with a ramp between 40º and 45º of inclination with abundant weeds, in fact the explorer disappears between her when initiating the descent.

Description

Upon reaching the base of this ramp, the cavity continues in two directions. Towards the North, a small projection, easily surmountable, allows us to continue a few meters until the cavity becomes impenetrable. In the South direction - which is the most obvious option - a P-8 leaves us on a stone ramp, which ends in a P-7. To access the head of this small vertical was necessary to install a handrail access. Once this P-7 has descended, the cavity ends abruptly. At this point is where they reach 26 meters deep, and where the cavity forms a small room. Without possibility of continuation, the cavity was considered finished. The genesis of this cavity is due to a strong decompression of the rock mass, this effort has given rise to the powerful fracture that originates the cavity. This fracture has hardly suffered the karst dissolution, present only in some points of the same. Scan completed.
