Approach

The track down the Sobra valley branches to the right and this is followed to a cabana. Through bracken 300 feet along and 100 feet further up before a tree, standing clear of the wooded area, is a boulder pile. Above this, at the base of the limestone, is a 3 foot circular entrance

Entrance

3 foot circular entrance. A resurgence cave of about 50 feet.

Description

3 foot circular entrance, dividing immediately. A tube to the left closes down but to the right, after a short section of stooping passage, leads to a walking size section about 8 feet high with a broken mud and calcite floor.
Gours and flowstone follow for about 20 feet until a double stalactite must be crawled under. Further passage leads up to a flowstone ramp. To the left is a low chamber but to the right, over sharp calcite flowers, a tube leads off but progress was obstructed by a calcite curtain. The passage continued. A chisel would be required to enter the continuation.
