Tresviso Caves Project

The Tresviso Caves Project is the latest incarnation of a series of caving expeditions to the Eastern Massif (also called Andara) region of the Picos de Europa, Northern Spain.

Exploration in the area was mainly undertaken by Lancaster University Speleological Society (LUSS) from the early 1970’s to the mid-1990’s, ongoing Spanish exploration since the early 1990’s (A.D. KAMI, Tracelet, Flash) and South Wales Caving Club (SWCC) from 2009 to 2014.

Since 2015 exploration has been undertaken as the Tresviso Caves Project, a collaboration between multiple UK clubs and the Madrid based A.D.KAMI. club. The Tresviso Caves Project is the latest incarnation of a series of caving expeditions to the Eastern Massif (also called Andara) region of the Picos de Europa, Northern Spain.
